This again is the old part of Bangalore called Chickpet. Daya and another lady stopped to buy some wedding trimmings for the EWE (East West Education)girls. EWE is the charity that the Durai's started some 10 years ago. It helps disadvantaged girls from poor areas get trained in sewing skills. They learn a lot more than sewing though. Some basic education including computer skills are taught. They are fed nourishing food and they are encouraged to move on to other jobs once their training is completed.
