A nice colourful photo of a "Rairhi"..a pushcart nicely arranged with Cape Gooseberries...the Indians call them Rasbharries...which rhymes with raspberries...and can be deceptive, as the two are very different. Rasbharry simply means full of juice...hence the name I think....should have called them "full of seeds"....although the golden yellow berries are very juicy. I miss these in Canada...I remember my mother making jams with them. Aunty Gypsie had them bought for me and stewed them...delicious.
